Good Neighbors Paraguay is hiring Executive Director


Education Bachelor degree related in the following areas: Business Administration, Project Development, Evaluation and Management, Social Education, Public Management, and others. Knowledge & Skills Conceptual understanding of and commitment to development work, child-focused, community-based development concepts, approaches, and processes - Basics concepts of quality according to ISO 9001:2015 - Knowledge of Paraguay labor laws - Basic knowledge of children s and adolescents rights. - Knowledge of data analysis - Knowledge of public policy - Demonstrated leadership and management skills - Good time management and organizational skills; Able to work under stress to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks - Good interpersonal and communications skills - Report writing skills - High skills in office software (Excel, Power Point, Word, G-suite, etc.) - Excellent communication skills in Spanish and Guarani (spoken and written) - Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written) - Availability to travel to abroad Experience - Over 10 years working in leadership positions focused on social development. - Minimum 5 years of experience in non-profit organizations - Working with multicultural teams, demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating action plans.


Executive director will provide strategic, managerial, technical leadership and management oversight to the social development project. S/he will oversee all aspects of project implementation, including program quality, personnel, and financial management. S/he will maintain close oordination with stakeholders, ensuring that all project interventions are of high quality and lead to measurable impact. S/he will be responsible for timely and adequate implementation of project activities, deliverables, and execution, monitoring, and reporting

La propuesta

Good Neighbors Paraguay is a non-profit organization, born in South Korea and established in Paraguay in 2011. In 2017, it became a local NGO under the name of Asociación Buenos Vecinos Paraguay. The organization aims to promote and encourage sustainable development and respect for human rights in different urban and rural communities in the country, through the fight against all kinds of violence, poverty, diseases and providing all kinds of help to people. We have 5 community development projects, which are based on a system of sponsorship of children and adolescents. During this period, several thematic areas such as education, health, child and adolescent protection, environment and water and sanitation are worked on.
